Standing page
Editorial policy
Four rules about money, four about publication, and one about the line this publication does not cross.
Money
This publication accepts no sponsorship, no advertising, no sponsored placement, no affiliate link and no paid mention. There is no slot on any page where a payment could appear, which is a structural statement rather than a promise: the page templates do not render one.
No supplier, laboratory, clinic or vendor has any influence over what is counted, how it is counted, what is published or in what order. None has been contacted and none has been offered anything.
Outbound links go to primary records only: a bibliographic record, or a document in the Federal Register. They are marked so they pass no ranking signal, and there are no commercial outbound links of any kind.
If that ever changes, the change will be stated on this page with the date, and every affected piece will carry it too. A sponsorship disclosure added quietly to a footer is not a disclosure.
What gets published
A piece is published only when its central claim is a number this publication computed itself, from a source a reader can reach, with a script that can be run again.
Every piece carries a methods box and a limits section, both in the body. A piece that cannot fill either is not published in a weaker form; it is not published.
Every piece links the dataset it was computed from, and the dataset page defines every column. The methods page states the counting rules that apply to all four.
Where a piece measures this portfolio's own corpus, it says so in the standfirst, in the dateline and in the methods box. Not in a footnote.
The line this publication does not cross
This publication reports distributions, methods and public records. It does not publish a page presenting any single compound's clinical evidence, and every page here declares that it presents none.
That is why an aggregate count across all 77 compounds is publishable while a per-compound table of tiers is not, and why the table of flagged titles labels every row as the output of a screen rather than as a finding about the compound named in it.
If a future piece does single out one compound and present its clinical record, it will declare that compound to the build, and it will be withheld from indexing unless a named qualified reviewer has signed it off. That gate is enforced by the build rather than by this paragraph.
Corrections
A wrong number is corrected by fixing the script that produced it, regenerating the dataset, and restating the figure in place with a note saying what it was and when it changed. Pieces are not deleted to resolve an error and figures are not edited silently.
A reader who finds a figure that does not reproduce from the published dataset has found a defect, and the dataset is published precisely so that this is possible.
